Filing your GST with Xero has just got a whole lot easier with the ability to electronically send your GST return through to the IRD.

The ability to do this is incorporated into the GST process within Xero and your next GST return will be the first opportunity to use it.

However there are a couple of things that need to be setup so don’t leave it to the last minute to get your GST return done.

You will need to:

1. Register for myIR .. click here to start the process
2. You will need to setup your GST return within Xero. The tax form that you select is GST Only (GST101)
