ALERT – Invoice Scam
The scammers are back (they didn’t go away) with more vigor and authenticity.
More and more commonly reported now is invoice scamming, where the cyber criminals alter or create a false invoice under your name or one or your supplier’s invoice EXCEPT the bank account is their bank account. That is only one way that they do it BUT be aware they are very very good at what they do.
So make sure you have processes in place and systems in place to ensure you don’t become a victim of this.
