Resurgence Support Payment (RSP) ..

This update deals with only the Resurgence Support Payment, which applications open tomorrow. We are picking this will be Part 1 with updates to follow once the process opens up and is used.

The RSP is a payment to support your business to cover fixed overheads. You can receive the RSP as well as the wage subsidy

1. Here is the link to the website where you can apply
2. It is applied for via the IRD so you will need a myIR login to apply
3. Make sure you read the Eligibility Criteria to make sure you can apply
3. We can apply for the RSP on your behalf but will need your authority to do this .. please email anne@bizfitness.co.nz if you require us to do the application
4. You will need a NZBN (NZ Business Number) .. if you are a company you already have one and you can access this via the Companies Office website. If you aren’t, then you need to apply for one by clicking here
5. Have the RSP banked into your business bank account as it includes GST.
6. You must prepare and retain evidence that supports all of the declarations that you make as part of the application
10. Revenue decline .. the threshold is a 30% decline and part of the application you will need to provide the numbers to prove the drop. The period is 7 days, being the first week of lockdown vs a regular 7 day revenue period that starts and ends in the 6 weeks prior to the increased alert level. Again the drop must be due, and only due, to the increased Alert level.
